Boys' Brigade

The Boys' Brigade (BB) is a ministry for boys of all ages from across the community. The object of the BB is the advancement of Christ's kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self Respect and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness.

Through a range of activities that take place on Thursday and Friday evenings for different age groups, the BB seeks to prepare boy's for life in the family, the workplace and the wider community; teach boys how and when to "lead" and how and when to "follow"; promote a positive blend of individualism and team playing vital to society; encourage boys to give back to the community in which they live.

The following are the times for each of the different age-groups that meet every Thursday and Friday evenings at St Andrew's, Bangor:

Badger Boys (Pre-School and P1): 6.15pm-7.15pm, Thursdays
Anchor Boys (P2 - P4): 6.15pm-7.15pm, Thursdays
Juniors (P5 - P7): 6.15pm-7.30pm, Thursdays
Company Section (Year 8+): 8pm-9.30pm, Fridays

If you've never had your children or grand children involved in BB before, come along and try it out - it's open to everyone across the wider community...we'd love to see you!
